I am currently advertising a PhD position for UK/EU Students in Data Driven Information Recovery in Sensor Systems.

My main research interests are in:

From 2014-17, I coordinated the Marie Curie International Training Network ADVANTAGE

I have been listed by Thomson Reuters from 2015-18 as a Highly Cited Scientist

I was elevated to the grade of IEEE Fellow in January 2016 for contributions to multiple antenna and multi-hop wireless communications.

A list of my publications can be found at my Google Profile: many of these papers can be found on IEEE Xplore.

Additional data or information is available for some of my papers, click here.

Learned Society Activities

I am involved in a number of activities with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE):

Teaching Activities

I am a co-author, along with Peter Grant and Bernard Mulgrew, of the second edition of book entitled "Digital Signal Processing: Concepts and Applications". More information can be found here.

I am currently an external examiner at the University College London.

I used to work with Andrew McCormick, a post-doctoral researcher. Whilst at Edinburgh, he wrote a Java based tutorial on OFDM, which can be found here.
