Prior to taking up my role as Student Industry Liaison Manager, I spent 8 years as a researcher within the School of Engineering at the University of Edinburgh. I worked on the EPSRC funded UPVLC project and also on Neuromorphic Circuit design.

Working as part of the EPSRC funded project Silicon Spiking Systems: Collective Parallel Computation & Adaptive Sensory Systems, which was a collaboration between the universities of Edinburgh, Stirling and Oxford, I investigated the use of spike timing correlations to create more robust analogue systems. In particular the ability of spike timing systems to adapt out the effect of transistor mismatch.

My thesis is avaliable here.
