Frequency Responses and Bode Diagrams

In the first part of this experiment we look at how to construct bode diagrams from the frequency responses and some of the features of these plots.

Below are a number of short exercises to work through and questions to answer based on Frequency Responses and Bode Diagrams. To help you answer the questions there are a number of applets available which can be used in conjuction with the exercises.

Controlling a Process

Now that you know a bit more about the Frequency Response and Bode Diagram we will move on to the second part of this experiment. In this section we concentrate on how these plots can be used to determine the controller parameters for a given process.
