Experimental Conditions

In this second experiment we are going to change the conditions so see what happens when the concentrate flowrate is smaller than the diluent. Hence the intial conditions will be:

Note that the questions are all the same as those from Constant Outflow Experiment 1.


Pre-Experimental Questions

This experiment has been split into three sections:

The first two parts are a quantitative analysis of the system to obtain the gain matrix and Relative Gain Array. The third part is simply a qualitative analysis of the system to verify the findings of the first two parts.

Please work through each of these in turn answering the questions as you go along.

Note: You can reset the controller parameters to their default settings at any time by clicking on the reload button in the browser toolbar. Unless specified in the experiment instructions, the defaults should be used.
