Reaction-Separation Process Equation Solver
This tool lets the user set up process material balance equations
using the notation fi, vi and li for feed and two
separate product
of species i and ej for the extent of reaction j. (But i and j
Must be numbers!)
The built-in data is for a 4 component system with one reaction:
A + B = C + D
where A, B .. are species 1, 2..
A and B are liquid and B and D are gaseous.
- The liquid feed is pure A
- The gas feed is 90% B and 10% D
- The liquid product contains 100kmol/hr of C
- It also contains 1% unreacted A and 0.1% dissolved D
- The gas product 90% D and 10% B.
Click `Convert', `Get Solver' then `Send Equations'.
Click `Solve' on the solver window which will pop up.
Click `Display' to bring back the results and display in tabular form.
