Guidelines:

• Agriculture is inefficient: - we must use all of the plant.
• Plants are mostly chemically stable solids: - use as solids.
• Chemical processing uses energy and creates entropy: - avoid it.

• Ploughing and sowing use energy: - grow perennial fuel crops.
• Plants grow better near the equator: - grow fuel crops outside Europe?
